Cognitive Hypnotherapy Explained
It happens to us all – we find ourselves in a situation and we are triggered to react in a certain way, as though there are a set of instructions that are making us behave in a way that’s unhelpful or unwanted. We look back and wonder why we did what we did when it’s not what we want.
There are a set of instructions that are making you behave or react in a particular way. They’re controlled by your unconscious.
No matter how many times you tell yourself that you won’t react that way again you will because at some point something negative happened and your unconscious learned from that. It wants to protect you from the negative situation or one that is similar to it and so triggers your response.
